DANCESPORT CLASS FOR KIDS AND TEENS

Children in dance class, following an instructor in front of mirrors. Wooden floor, beige curtains, vases with flowers. Casual, focused mood.
Children follow instructions in a dance class, focusing on their movements in front of large mirrors.

This dance class is a perfect introduction into competitive Latin and Ballroom dancing, called "DanceSport" for kids and teens age 6+

Every Saturday 1:00 – 2pm (level 1) 2 - 3pm (level 2)

Fee: $48 per month (no other contracts / fees)

Dances taught in our dancesport class for children and teens age 6+ are:

Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive, Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep & Viennese waltz.

Dancers in red dresses and black outfits perform in a ballroom competition. An audience watches from the background, set against dark curtains.
In vibrant red costumes, the dancers gracefully move across the floor during a lively dance competition, mesmerizing the audience with their skilled performance.

DanceSport combines the art of dance with the composure of athletics. It develops physical strength, agility, coordination, stamina, endurance, and fitness. It's practice has an anti-bullying effect, it promotes discipline, respect to others and teamwork.

DanceSport is great for girls AND boys! Here are some reasons why boys in particular should consider Latin and Ballroom Dancing!

1) Since in competitive Ballroom Dancing, a boy and a girl work together as a

couple from an early age, it teaches leadership and allows boys to learn how to

communicate with girls, learn to work in a team, developing leadership skills and

a desire for victory.

2) Ballroom Dancing teaches boys how to respect girls with discipline and courtesy

3) Competitive Ballroom dancing teaches trust because the dance couples must

rely on each other

4) Being a Ballroom Dancer offers a unique identity that isn't directly attached to a

school clique. This can ease the pressure and can build confidence for them as

an individual rather than copying or trying to impress their peers.

So come on guys, give it a go!
